At First Baptist Citronelle, we have excellent staff members
that love the Lord and care about people. Take some
time to get to know us. |
 Pastor
Dr. Elbert Charpie came as pastor in August of 2007. He
received his bachelor of music degree from William Carey
College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and his master of
divinity and doctor of ministry degrees from New Orleans
Baptist Theological Seminary. His wife, Vickie, is a
therapist and has her master degree in professional
counseling. They have three children, Paul, age 24, who is
currently attending East Tennessee State University in
pre-dentistry and married to Amy; Rachel, age 18, who is a
worship leadership major at the University of Mobile; and Daniel, age 16, who is a
senior at
Citronelle High School.

 Worship Leader
Derrick Englebert came to First Baptist Church in July 2006.
Derrick has traveled for 15 years in gospel music, with many
different groups as a lead singer , songwriter and vocal
coach. Derrick and his wife Audra , a RN Account Executive
at Amedisys Home Health, live in Deer Park , with their two
children , Breanna 7, and C.T. 4. Derrick works a full time
job, and yet leads a dynamic and inspiring heart felt
worship every time we meet together. |

Pastor to Families
Jamie Taylor came on staff in December, 2008. His primary responsibilities are in youth and children's ministries.
Jamie has served as a youth pastor and children's minister in South Alabama, and as a guest speaker at various youth events
throughout our area. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mobile. Jamie is married to Karla and has three children: Malachi, Jayla, and Malia.

Evangelist
Johnny Tucker is a former pastor at First Baptist Church and
has been in full-time evangelism for 30+ years. Johnny
preaches all over the world and organizes mission trips to
Guatemala and the Philippines. He is married to Judy
and they have two sons, Shane and Heath, and one daughter,
Deidra. |

 Financial
Secretary Rhonda McNees has been our financial
secretary since June, 2007. She is married to Andy. |

 Church Secretary
Paulette Finch has been on staff at FBC since November of 2008. She is married to Hank and has
one daughter, Somer, married to Tommy George, and two grandsons, John Thomas and Ethan,
and one son, Trey. She is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Citronelle.

CLC Director
Cindy Turner is the Children's Learning Center Director
here at First Baptist Church. Cindy served at
Shiloh Baptist Church in Saraland, Alabama as Daycare Director for 9 years.
Cindy came on staff full-time in January, 2009. In addition to daycare, she has also
been involved as a High School Girls Sunday School Teacher, and
has taught 4-K preschool for 19 years. She, and her
husband Joe, have two children Kelly (and son-in-law Chris)
and Aaron, and their very first grandchild.

Admin Assistant
Heather Holley is our CLC Daycare Administrative
Assistant. Heather graduated in May, 2008 from USA
with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Advertizing.
Heather is from Saraland, AL and attends Wilson Avenue
Baptist Church. |
